    Im pretty sure it just means you can only change your email with a gold account, thats still a really crappy way to explain an option. Pronouns should be used sparingly.

    I had that problem aswell, what i just did was combine then in one account. You can add that account of youtube in your gmail account.
    Just click on that top right button
