The tartan itself is a distinctive pattern of crossing colored stripes, and historically different designs were associated with particular clans or regions in Scotland.What I find interesting is how versatile tartan kilts have become today. People wear them not only for cultural events and weddings but also at festivals, themed parties, and even as casual fashion.
